Bryant Lake Disc Golf Course

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

The 18-hole disc golf course at Bryant Lake Regional Park offers short and long tee boxes, scenic lake views and the infamous hole #17, where golfers throw their discs off a cliff to reach the basket. The course has been beautifully designed, and the scenic views over the lake make the Bryant Lake disc golf course more memorable. The fairways are regularly mowed, and the greens are landscaped. Certain holes have two baskets to give players an option. Bryant Lake frisbee golf course costs $3 a round or $30 for a season pass good to all Three Rivers Parks.

C.P. Adams Park is an 18 hole course in Hastings, MN. The disc golf course is located on part of 40 acre C. P. Adams Park. With hole names like Frozen Rope, Cranker Soarus, Jailhouse Roc, Raspberry Fields Forever, this is one of the better courses in the Minneapolis area. The total yardage is around 4,000 from red tees, and more than 6,000 from the blue. CP Adams course is a tougher 18 hole course and players should be ready for elevation changes because there are more than a few mountains. There are both wooded and wide open holes, promising something for everyone.

One of the highlights or CP Adams Disc Golf Course is hole #13, called Ivy Buggin’, which features a blind toss from the top of a cliff. Be careful on #14 “Rocky Horrow Bogey Throw”, because one wrong move and you disc will be at the bottom of the hill.

The CP Adams disc golf course is just east of Highway 61 on State Highway 291, with the entrance at 1301 LeDuc Avenue. Operating hours are dusk to dawn, and the CP Adams Frisbee Golf Course is free to play. CP Adams also hosts the annual Minnesota Spring Open tournament in April.
